I received a sample of this serum when I purchased my first jar of Blue Tansy Cream. I really liked how my skin was feeling so ordered this serum to add to my routine. So far it’s thumbs up for my venture into the Mimar product line.

Frustrated with products that promise results but just did not deliver... I came across Mimar's Vitamin C Serum at the Big Carrot Dispensary on Danforth. They were so good to provide me with a little bit of the product to sample, so I could ensure I didn't have adverse reaction. After half way through trying the first bottle of the serum... OMG. I had already started noticing the difference: Wow! that's what my face "used to look like"?! I now no longer need to find/wear layers of corrector/concealer to cover up the discoloration. The freedom of not having to "cover up" the face has been just liberating. Keep up the good work, Mimar! We need to age gracefully together...
ps. This Vitamin C Serum formulation is safe to use during the day, ie. not sun sensitive, which was important to me, as I didn't want to invite more sunspots to add onto the face! I lather on sunscreen as the last step in my skin care routine. Remember we no longer have the ozone layer to protect us from the sun!! Sunscreen is a must, if you don't want those sun spots to cover your entire face by the age of 60, or even 50!

How is this different from other Vitamin C serums?

We use Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate (THA), a stable, oil-soluble form of Vitamin C that penetrates deeper and won't oxidize or turn orange on your shelf.

Is this safe for sensitive skin?

Absolutely. THA is non-acidic and does not require a low pH to work, making it perfect for sensitive skin that usually reacts to traditional L-Ascorbic Acid.

When and how should I apply it?
